Nothing too special today.  Played with my Improvisation class and in big band.  My jazz pedagogy students conducted the big band for class today.  I think they realized that being a conductor is more about how you prepare before a rehearsal than what you do during the rehearsal.  To me, this goes back to how well you know the music you’re working on, either as a conductor, or performer.
